Members rocket34bg
i have the line 6 dl-4 and fm-4, and they are great. of course. but i didn't realize there were rack versions of the dl-4, fm-4, and mm-4. with midi sync. and you can pick your tweak and tweeze modes. are these things worth having over the stompboxes? of course i mean only if you use them in the studio. my pedals are all on a table. the fm-4 with more settings would be awesome. and i was thinking the dl-4 would be better if you could pick the modulation on the delay, which looks like you can do on the rack version who has these? Members rocket34bg
hmm. i'm guessing they are discontinued... http://cgi.ebay.com/Line6-Line-6-Filter-Pro-Rack-Unit-rarely-used_W0QQitemZ130216409967QQihZ003QQcategoryZ23790QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem i'm really thinking about getting that and replacing my fm-4, which is one of my most used pedals. does anyone know how much these retailed for and a reason why i should or shouldn't replace my fm-4 with the rack version? Members HeartfeltDawn
The rack stuff in the Uk has been typical going at nearly double the price of the equivalent footpedal. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LINE-6-ECHO-PRO-THE-ULTIMATE-RACK-DELAY-NEAR-MINT_W0QQitemZ320239556755QQihZ011QQcategoryZ23790QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem The Filter Pro has been about

Members HeartfeltDawn
they are all discontinued. i dont think they make a DM4 rack version do they I think they only made the Mod Pro, Filter Pro and Echo Pro. Occasionally idiots try selling all three for insane sums http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LINE-6-MOD-ECHO-FILTER-PRO-MINT-IN-SKB-CASE_W0QQitemZ320234990577QQihZ011QQcategoryZ23790QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Members Vince
99 presets, tap tempo and midi sync.If I had a rack, I'd get the Echo pro in a heartbeat.
Members red_riviera
I now have all three in the loop of my POD XT Pro, so I'm selling my stompbox versions (spam!sorry). Linking all the rack units with MIDI cables means you can tap in a tempo on the Pod and all the --4s will synchronize. Lots of presets, plus XLR ins and outs. It's good having the tweek & tweez parameters displayed becuase they're often all different when switching through the models. Also useful to have displays that can display tempo in bpm, Hz or seconds.
Members rockstrongo
I used to have an Echo Pro that I used with my Diezel before I got my Marshall. It was awesome. After they discontinued them I sold it for twice what it sold for new.
Members Welladjusted
they are all discontinued. i dont think they make a DM4 rack version do they There is one DM4 rack unit in existence. It's a custom one-off for The Edge. He used the DM-4 for the distortions on the latest u2 album, but would have needed to take a lot of DM-4's on the road for all the sounds he used, so they had Line 6 make him a rack unit with all the presets
Members dmk
i got a echo pro and a filter pro. having owned a dl-4 and fm-4, the rack versions kick ass being able to sync up both units with one tap is amazing.
