Members kriista
Doing another rehouse of a boss pedal (OC-2), and instead of trying to squeeze it into a 1290 type box (which would be a challenge anyways) I'm thinking about putting it into a 1590, since with top mounted jacks it would actually have a small footprint. Another added perk is that it'll be a little roomy on the inside. So I'd like to stick in a circuit or 2. My first through was a simple resonant low-pass filter. Tune in some crazy fat low end with that.I've seen a schematic for a simple MS-20 type filter, but no layout for it (and I'm not good at translating that into a layout).Anyone know of a kit version of a LPF, or a layout for one? Any other suggestions? It would have to be perfboardable, run off 9v, and have very little control (1-2 knobs max). It would most probably be switched on/off via a toggle switch (instead of a stomp) Not really interested in boosts or the like.

Members Don't Post
you beat me to it, I was going to post the same thing:D so you are honestly trying to say that you came up with the idea of making little preexisting circuits intended to install inside of and/or modify other preexisting devices or to work as standalone devices and that you thought to call them PARASITES several minutes after i launched my completely original PARASITES and after i
Members kriista
The parasites look great (we're talking about thesquareparade right?), but those are all line level circuits, so I'd have to preamp(and postamp?) them all. They are all also never available (whenever I check anyways).
Members slight-return
wouldnt they be symbiants ?(a couple of decades ago, they were just "subcircuits", occasionally "snippets" )hey, a great pop-sci book..Parasite Rex...read it!
Members kriista
Snippets! Man, there's a ton of those: http://www.geocities.com/tpe123/folkurban/fuzz/snippets.html That MS20 filter I saw came from here.
