I sure will man. Thanks.

Hey, just an FYI. The myspace link in your sig isn't working. It looks like the emoticon is being added to the end of it causing an error msg.

But I listened to your songs on MySpace-- cool stuff, man. Not the kind of music I usually listen to, but I liked it. :thu:

Thanks a ton man. I appreciate it EXTREMELY. It's nice to have some feedback from other guitar player and musicians. I'll get that fixed. Thanks alot.

Funny story (and by funny I mean it shows my stupidity). Had a Vintage RAT and an American Telecaster, both great, both beautiful. However, I wasn't playing guitar very much partly due to graduate school and was low on cash so sold my Tele and my RAT. A year later I was jonesing to play again and had to go out and buy another guitar and search eBay to find another Vintage RAT which were discontinued in the interim. (I've done this kind of thing numerous times... :freak:).

Moral of the story: don't sell your RATs. Here it is:

Yeah i love my rat.

I did some tweaking and my rat is starting to really shine through. Great pedal.

I can't wait to compare it to the Shredmaster.

I used both in my rig for a few years, totally different animals but they worked together. My late 80's small box is fuzzy and bright while the SM (contour & treble at 5oclock) is broad and warm. I tried different chains but the most useful for me was RAT before the SM. The overdrive contour on the SM didn't seem to effect the RAT as much as the RAT did to the SM..

At least that's how I dialed them into my 65 Twin RI. The SM sounded a bit better to me when I was playing through a SF Vibrolux, now I cant seem to get enough treble out of it and I have been looking for other overdrives to replace it (so far, a keeley mod TS9 is doing ok).. but I don't want to mod it, for sentimental reasons.

Versatile pedals, good luck with em
