Members YuRiEL
Hi folks. Here is the question: Do you use chorus for distortion sound? OR that effect is good only for clean chanel? And whow that pedal influences sound wdistort?
Members Switchblade327
Im sure I'ma get bucketed for this, but I use chorus with distortion, namely, my XT-2 and hyperpak. Really hard edged distortion+ chorus seems to give this wierd shimmer to the distortion, (using my el cheapo chinese no name chorus) almost synth-y in a sense. Definitely not something youd use throughout a song, as you would chorus when playing clean. Still, I enjoy it pretty immensely.
Members StEeLDrEdGeR/
Not that I'm a big fan, but Bullet For My Valentine uses chorus with their rhythm tone alot.

Members bradberry00
I like the depth heavy almost phaser sounding chorus with distortion for some leads like Cobain would do on songs like Teen Spirit and Heart Shaped Box...
Members Lanefair
It does wonders on a bass to use overdrive and chorus. Very synthlike.

Members petejt
Hi folks. Here is the question: Do you use chorus for distortion sound? OR that effect is good only for clean chanel? And whow that pedal influences sound wdistort? I do. I love it! But I am still learning how to get it right. 'tis a big journey. I'm actually planning on making me own rotating speaker system purely to modulate the distorted signal for chorusy crunch. I have been planning it for a while but only just started getting parts for it.

Members Kikaruu
..:I use chorus with distortion often, but not often in one song. Oddly, though, I don't use it for clean very much. Go figure...:I think it adds to the "powerfulness" of a sound when you use it rarely, but in a key part of the song. For instance, Smells Like Teen Spirit. Very nice chorus, and very nice chorus effect.
Members RUExp?
I do. I use a Boss CE-3 with the rate turned way down. It really smooths out the dirt.
Members DanJep
I have been known to use light chorus on light OD from time to time but nothing more than that.

Members K2000
It does wonders on a bass to use overdrive and chorus. Very synthlike. Unless you hate synthy-sounding bass. Then you wonders why you bought it.
