Members lukin
What would the advantages/disadvantages be for using the Korg Pitchblack as a power supply instead of perhaps a Supa Charger? I got my pitchblack today and was suprised to find it had this feature. I have been thinking of removing the only 24V pedal from my board which would leave me with 3x9V100mA and 1x9V200mA so I think the korg tuner would do the trick and I might be able to sell the power supply I have currently. Members pbone
I don't think that the PB is a power supply. It merely allows you to daisy chain other pedals off of its power out jack, but it itself requires a power supply.
Members andreas
Yup - just like the TU-2, the Pitchblack is not a power supply in any way, shape or form. It merely has a second adapter jack, wired in parallel to the first, so you can tap power (coming in from an adapter) off to other pedals. It will not replace any power supply. /Andreas
