For MetallicA cleans try bass at about 6, treble at about 8, and mids around 6. I know it sounds wierd, MetallicA and lots of mids but their amps had tons of mid on them so when they had them turned down it was like normal on a normal amp instead of way down. Then get an EQ pedal and make a V, that scoops the mids and makes it tighter. The high mids of the amp will give you a bigger sound and the low mid of the EQ will give you definition and tightness, a perfect combination. I'm not very familiar with your amp but these should work, just keep in mind you might have to tweak it and don't expect exact sounds, they had tubes amps. Also try to get a compressor, they used that for the MOP interlude. Welcome home was clean with I think chorus and The Thing was down tuned and I don't know what effect. And you can probably tell that the cleans on battery are acoustic. Did I miss any?:)

As far as I can tell, it sounds about right.
