Members AcheWater Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 What happened?Did they self destruct? That would be awesome. We can only wish. Am I the only one that thinks Ipods and downloadable singles are killing music, especially the "album?"
Members Liberty Belle Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 i dont own an ipod. can you put ripped cd's on it or? just D/L stuff they make you buy from itunes?
Members Loobster Posted April 27, 2008 Author Members Posted April 27, 2008 I still buy albums. On cd that is. Call me antiquated.
Members Loobster Posted April 27, 2008 Author Members Posted April 27, 2008 i dont own an ipod. can you put ripped cd's on it or? just D/L stuff they make you buy from itunes? Both. You can also put music on it that you download illegally.
Members attic Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 I actually like itunes. It's a pretty powerful program. It loads really really fast.
Members Liberty Belle Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 ok i just needed to know if yall could put {censored} on it.
Members Loobster Posted April 27, 2008 Author Members Posted April 27, 2008 I actually like itunes. It's a pretty powerful program. It loads really really fast. I like it a lot. Works great on my mac (it should).
Members Loobster Posted April 27, 2008 Author Members Posted April 27, 2008 ok i just needed to know if yall could put {censored} on it. Yup. If I didn't have to travel on public transport so much I doubt I'd have the need for one.
Members frankiej Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 never had a problem with mine. Id suggest putting a plastic cover on the Ipod if its a 20g. Its saved mine from certain destruction from dropping a handful of times. my little one that is like a clip is a tuff one...been stepped on, thrown around and works great.
Members SonicVI Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 I'm on my first iPOD, a 10Gb bought in September 2002, still works fine.
Members attic Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 I recently got an iphone, and it's pretty amazing.
Members slight-return Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 Am I the only one that thinks Ipods and downloadable singles are killing music, especially the "album?" funny thing is, when you think about it...the 'album' has always been a collection of singles - i mean, thats sort of hat it means! Back in the day of 78s, you only got abt 3-3.5 mins per disc side, so you had singles as time went on, people started using bound books of disc sleeves ("record albums") and, eventaully, cohesive collections [of 78 'singles] were published in pre-packaged album format.
Members attic Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 There is no song on my player without the rest of the album.I only buy/download albums in a whole.Way more satisfying.
Members AcheWater Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 were published in pre-packaged album format. IN that way it is comparable. I should have elaborated. Most music coming out seems to be soo effing compressed so it will sound decent coming through computer speakers and little headphone earpieces. Producers and the like are forgetting about we few who still lisen to our music through sound systems.
Members L_Z_nut Posted April 27, 2008 Members Posted April 27, 2008 Ummm... so why do you keep peeing on the electric fence? After the 2nd one failed I would have moved on to a different company. MY bro has had his MP3 player for 4-5yrs now. It's been stepped on, dropped in a glass of water, dropped on various floors and once from a 5ft drop, and it still works like the day he got it.

Hmm, I think all my music sounds quite nice on all my equipment.Maybe you need some better music.

Members Loobster Posted April 27, 2008 Author Members Posted April 27, 2008 Oh well. I like apple products. Last one breaking was my fault. Dropped it on a concrete floor and it gave it a huge dent which {censored}ed the hard drive. I'll be more careful with this one, promise.
