the microsynth sounds warmer, has a couple of very unique fuzz sounds, lead sound, boewd sounds, cheesy 70's synth sounds, no presets

the FM-4 has a lot of gimmicky synth sounds, best fart sound, but it didn't work well in a band situation, hard to make it sound functional, all sounds are over the top, the mix control allows to blend in the right amount of synth effect allright, but it takes a lot of tweaking to get a useful synth sound out of it, and it has the presets

if you want something that actually combines the best of both worlds, get a SYB-3

MicroSynth FTW

It just sounds nice. Also when it glitches [trying to play two or more notes on an octave setting] it sound nice too.

They're all analogue aren't they? Bit fragile though, I'm always scared of snapping a slider off.
