Members H.R. Shove and Stuff
My univibe's expression jack is something that I can't figure out. The jack and cord, and even the expression pedal itself is getting pretty worn down after a few decades. I want to switch out another footswitch before its too late. I have a wah pedal that I can use for parts if that is possible. Anybody have any idea what I can do?
Members SUPER VELCROBOY
you should be able to replace the cord pretty easily. You can buy that from a bunch of electronic places online. The jack doesn't look too bad at all. It looks like it needs some good cleaning, and should be easily replaceable too. My advice would be (if you have no experience) to pay a tech to do it for you. I would recommend Dave Fox from FoxRox electronics who have a lot of experience with univibe circuits. Send him an email.

I could replace it, it's just a question of whether or not I want to run the risk of doing damage I'll may send Dave Fox an email though. Thank you.
