Members lespaul1964
Ok, I had my first gig yesterday after purchasing a furman line conditioner (I know, a glorified power strip) and my second gig with a GSP1101 (digitech). After powering up, there was this very loud hum on the line. SE checked all the cables, boxes, etc. and nothing. I changed the GSP plug from the furman to another power strip. Nothing. I disconnected my Midi Buddy (still connected to the furman). Nothing. I tried everything and the hum was still there. I could not hold up sound check any longer so I got my old faithful GNX 2 out and played with that, clean no hum, eventhough many of my patches and sounds were not programmed into that unit. I survived, but what was that f***ing hum??
Members parkerguy
My guess would be it was the GSP.. since it was there no matter where you plugged it in and went away once you changed it..
