Members tidalwaveGB
I have decided that I definitely want one, but I have noticed that most online stores have discontinued it. Any idea why? Have Boss ceased production on these? I understand that it makes some hiss, and it is not possible to cycle through presets with one of the pedals, but I'm not too concerned about those issues. So, I think I might ebay one, when the price is right, but before I do that, I'd like to know if there are any other options out there. Currently, I have a DOD FX40B, but its not enough for my needs. So, is there anything out there besides the EQ-20 that accomplishes the same task? Also, any thoughts about the pedal in question are welcome. Thanks. Members ambys
I had the EQ-20 and sold it pretty quickly. I found the digital interface to be a bit lacking and I didn't feel that it offered as much control as their regular EQ Stomp box or the MXR one. I agree though, it's a great concept to be able to save and recall presets so easily--definitely give it a whirl if you can find one to try. So, basically you found that you couldn't shape your tone as much as you could with a regular stomp box? Has anyone else found this?
