Parametric EQ Frequencies

Kind of a strange question I guess...

I have an Ibanez Parametric EQ from way back when (it has a square switch like those TS-808 RIs) and I've been playing with the mid frequencies. I can't really decide what frequency is best for my Big Muff. The lower ones seem to beef it up a bit more and the higher ones make it sound more shrill depending on where the Muff's tone is at.

What frequency would YOU guys choose for this? Would it be too hard without a regular 7 band EQ?

Honestly, if you can't decide based on just sweeping the knob while you listen to it, you really think someone here is going to say "oh, I think 1.6k is just perfect" and you'll be satisfied? Get off the computer and screw around with the damn thing some more.

Everybody has different ideas on what they want to sound like. Don't you have your own idea?

Of course he probably does.

There's nothing with asking what others do.

Otherwise why have Internet Forums? :poke:
