Members Rumble Bass
I recently obtained a Kelley modded TS-9. I compared it to my stock TS-9 and hear no difference. What's up with that?

Members Rumble Bass
did you get it in a trade? I had an old one with a broken switch, so I gave to a guy to fix and he modded it as well. Maybe he screwed me, I don't konw. He gave me two chips - Keeley and 808. Neither of them seem to make any difference to me.
Members andreas
Ah, so it isn't a Keeley modified pedal, but "some guy". That might be it... There's no "Keeley" and "808" chips - I don't know what's up with that. Post a gut shot of the component side and I might be able to tell you what's been done (and not). /Andreas
Members Belt
The main difference in the IC's should really be the letter at the end.... Be it 4558D - 4558DD - 4558P (my favorite). You should really post pics. That'll clear up a lot.
Members byteblock
4558P is an awesome chip. I put 2 in a metal zone. But yeah it sounds like to me the original poster got jacked.
Members Rumble Bass
I'll open it up and take a picture. Basically I had a non-working TS-9 and a friend said he "Knows a guy" who can fix it. So he fixed it and said he added a "808" chip and gave me another chip he called the "keeley" chip. I really don't hear much difference with with either chip in. I don't really care since I didn't pay him much and now it at least works.
