Members TheGareth
I have an account but I just use it for browsing purposes. There's no way on this earth I'd ever pay for that forum. Anyways man, you can use google to search TGP without having to pay for anything. Just use the following method - Where I have "arse" you can type whatever you like in the quotation marks. Members Uma Floresta
Eventually it will be a highly striated hierarchy, where if you pay nothing, they will change your moniker to something like "miserable peasant," and force you to listen to an hour of elevator music featuring a fat lawyer playing through a Dumble between each post, and refer to gold members as "Master." As you start paying, you start getting a few "rights" that everyone gets here for free, like not having your PMs available to the public, and the forum not making your social security number available to the entire Asian continent. Gold and Platinum members will be totally exempt from banning, and can post naked pictures of Bea Arther and Howard Dumble while editing the posts of "miserable peasant" members at will. Members seajay
I think it's just for the emporium? Yes, you have to be a contributing member to start new threads in the emporium. You can still reply to emporium threads even if you don't contribute. You can start new threads in all other areas of TGP whether you contribute or not. Members zygoat
Does this affect people who signed up a few months ago? I never had to pay anything... I go to TGP mostly for the gear emporiums, I'm not a contributing member and I can start threads in those forums.

Phil O'Keefe
I'm not a member on TGP, and I have nothing against them.... but since someone asked me via PM, I thought I should reply publically:No, HC does not take contributions. For anyone who wants to "give back", my suggestion would be to do something cool for a fellow forumite in need. What? That's up to you.... but "random acts of kindness" are always good karma.
