its on UK tv now.. and i've found myself watching it... again.. must be like the 20th time now, but it can never be missed if it is on telly.

i think it has some kind gravitational pull for a lot of people.

anyway.. ads are almost over.. gotta get back to invasion of Nakatomi Plaza

It was on last night as well! Me and a friend were having an argument over who would win in a fight; John McClane or Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) from Lethal weapon. I'm backing McClane

I'd say Martin Riggs because he's a crazy bastard. Bruce Willis is super tough but Riggs has that crazy edge that would help him.

Diehard 3 was great, I never get tired of watching that. I think the reason they never get boring is because the plot is so easy to understand and the films themselves are full of action and some slight comedy elements.

The Last Die Hard film was dreadful. It was beyond ridiculous. The first one was and still is great though.

get outta here!!

They're all ridiculous, thats essentially the appeal. Just ridiculous situations that all showcase Bruce Willis being a BAMF.

and the new one was in baltimore.....

BALTIMORE

the last DH film was just aweful, not a DH film in any way shape or form. Like Thunderdome, if it is a stand alone film, maybe it has a chance. Well, no, I take that back, it was total ass.

The original DH is great, everything else after, total garbage.

what about both McClane and Riggs verse RoboCop? That'd be interesting

Which Robocop we talkin about? I think McClane, Riggs, Robocop vs Ed 209 vs Optimus Prime vs Sauron vs Elminster vs Ash Ketchum would be cool.

I just want to see Ben Affleck and Robert Downy Jr. team up in an Iron Man/Daredevil crossover film. Man that would be sooooo awesome.

Yeah, it would be pretty sweet.... if you removed Ben Affleck from the equation.

Crazy is a double-edged sword. On one hand, Riggs didn't care at times if he lived or died, and that can make for an extremely dangerous opponent. However, crazy to the point of not thinking, or to the point of ignoring your training gives a significant advantage to that person's opponent, and Riggs has been there a few times too, so that's a wash IMO.

McClane has the advantage in cockiness and audacity IMO, and good old fashioned Irish luck. Never discount the importance of Irish luck. ;) OTOH, he's got a really bad headache, and needs some shoes. Riggs is one heck of a good shot (" :) Have a nice day!" :D ) and has SPEC OPS training. I'm sorry, as much as I like McClane, I have to go with Riggs on this one. :)

The original RoboCop

and for your ultimate deathmatch, why not throw in Iron Man, and Anakin Skywalker (right before he turns into Darth Vader) in the mix? teh T-100 terminator?
