Nah! Guitar > Fuzz > OD > OD > Dist > Fuzz

:thu:;)

That was just simplified version.
At the moment the dirt on my board is: Fuzz > Fuzz > OD > Boost > OD > Fuzz > Fuzz

I admit that it's a bit over the top. :idk:

whats the general rule with distortion fuzz and od?

like fuzz>Od>Dist or Dist>Fuzz>OD?

Fuzz would normally come first if it was Germanium fuzz which likes being first in the chain. My fuzz is all transistor though so I prefer it after OD so I can add extra gain in the same way I do with an amp. I've never really got on with OD at the end of the dirt chain. That acts more as a volume boost that a gain boost for me and so you don't get the effect I'm looking for out of them.

I always end up putting them in ascending order of dirtiness which works for me.

+1 I only break this rule if a pedal just doesn't want to comply. The cool thing about pedals is that they can sometimes act in strange and cool ways when combined with other pedals. So some playing around with your pedals when you add a new one can lead to some interesting sounds.
