Members attic Posted May 8, 2008 Members Share Posted May 8, 2008 I like the music a lot, I was pretty surprised that was recorded with such limited resources. But, the voice kind of bothers me. I have the feeling that you're doing your best to have a good pronounciation, but it's a bit over the top if you ask me. First, they stand out too much, so lower the volume a bit. Second, you need to let the words flow a bit. Use some emotion, but don't overdo it. Third, I suggest you use some hall reverb, because to me, they sound a bit too dry... Members mueller Posted May 8, 2008 Author Members Share Posted May 8, 2008 thanks, yeah i know what you're saying about the singing. i'm assuming you listened to Let me Go.. the vocals actually have quite a bit of reverb on them but it kind of just gets lost in the mix. it's probably my lack of experience mixing and i'm not exactly using studio monitors either.
