Phil O'Keefe
Nobels makes a little 4X2 mixer called the Mix 42-C that looks ideal for pedalboard mounting, and it's only $100 list. I have not tried it though, so I can't speak of the sound quality, reliability, etc. http://www.nobels.com/en/index.htm Other than that, if we're going to discuss "best small mixer", then we need to define some things, such as number of channels and the other features that you need / want (aux sends, unit size, rotary or linear faders, EQ or just summing, etc.), and your budget, or I might just suggest a Neve sidecar or something.
