Members fist
...In terms of reliability? Lots of positive things said about the tone of it, but in some of the HC reviews, although its' not the most accurate source, there's quite a few mentions of reliability problems, buzzings etc. But that said, some of them are a good two years old. So are the more recent ones any better? Appreciate any input, cheers
Members frankiej
pure awesomeness. i mean they go for like 40 bucks, no other delay in that price range can beat it for its echo mode.
Members greenweenie
The Tonelok switches are flimsy. My CF-7 died out a few months ago and won't turn off but the sound is just dry, no effect. I guess if you're really finicky about these, you could put the DE-7 in a small truebypass loop.
Members Jbrazz
the switches are fine, for the money its the best digital delay next to the dd-3, IMHO.

Members fist
SEARCH FUNCTION i dunno, maybe im a {censored}ing r tard, which is probably the case anyway, but i put 'ibanez de-7' into it, and get a tonne of {censored} about ibanez stuff i'm not really interested in, so i put in 'de7', and it wont have it cos its too short i think. So... put in 'de7 delay', and get loads of stuff where delay is obviously the keyword. So gave up and started a new thread Oh yeah, put it into youtoob as well, and there was a video of yours there
Members valvestate
Been using the pink delay for at least 2 years now... no problems. Just nice sounding delay...
Members veil
The old DE-7s had awful switches guaranteed to break. The news ones don't, I guess.
Members Crxsh
I had a DE-7 and liked my DD-3 much more. Twice the price I guess, but still under $100. It wasn't a bad pedal really, but I think the price point is why it wins.

Members SDSMusic
I have 4 tonelok pedals (de7, lf7, cf7, pm7) of various ages and I have not had a problem with any of their switches.

Members Musickbox
I had other Ibanez pedals, those suck. DE7 has been awesome. -Yannick
Members gambit
the DE-7 is fine. the tone lok series have 2 variants on the switch - not sure if its a new vs old thing, but the PM-7 and DE-7 (i presume others too) have the good switch and the FZ-7 and LF-7 have the bad one. both of the latter are acting up with mine
Members archlilim
Yeah, I've been really happy with mine. The batt life is a little low, but you can get some super vintage sounds out of it. I can basically start a war with the speed dial.
Members jubb
I haven't had one for a while but IIRC the switch was kind of weird on my tonelok. It wasn't a DE7 though. It was the 7th heaven. that made some NASTY sounds. I kind of liked it.
Members pinkzep52
They sound amazing!! The only flaw is that eats batteries really quickly (I use an adapter because of this) and that the switch will sometimes take two hits to turn on or off. The switch problem doesn't bother me too much, at least it works it, its just not so reliable sometimes.
