The strange thing is, when i speak to people my own age a lot of them seem really old in their ways ... maybe i just never grew up.

I know what you are saying, I meet people half my age and they seem twice my age! I'm gonna pick my kids up from school in a little bit....I'll be stood there in my cargo shorts, converse and bright yellow 'circle jerks' t-shirt surrounded by all these parents (most of whom are younger than me) thinking...'WTF, happened to these people' :freak:

I've found with people my age that a lot of them are stuck in the past musically, still only listening to the music of their teens, never moving forward.
Sure, i enjoy the music of my teens occasionally in a nostalgic way but i'd much rather hear something new and fresh. Can't exactly say i'm 'down with the kids' but i do try to keep up with new stuff.
I never want to be one of those people that's always saying 'music was better in my day' ... if i start doing that it's time to end it all

I think music keeps you young, the people I know who seem the 'oldest' are people that were never big music fans....I think there's something about being a music fan that gives you a young outlook on life. Look at people like John Peel, Tony Wilson, etc.

yup, I'm not going to do that.

I'm me, I'll always be me....just an older version.

I'll be 32 in November myself. I like to think that not having kids keeps me young.

Wait, no, that's not right, not having kids keeps me irresponsible.

Yeah, that's it! :)

People use kids as an excuse for being boring miserable {censored}s. I have two kids aged 8 and 9 and sure I have to be slightly more responsible, but it hasn't changed me like some people like to make out it does. The only real change is I have them in my life, but if anything they are just another excuse for me to keep acting like a kid, going out on our bikes, playing in the park, playing video games, etc. :)
