Members Taylor. Posted May 13, 2008 Members Posted May 13, 2008 And it was pretty awesome. I recently became aware of how many of my favorite tones are actually fuzz, and so I've been checking out a few fuzz pedals to try to get close to some of these. This pedal was fantastic. No matter how much grit I dialed in, every note rang out clearly. I compared it to a Seymour Duncan Tweak Fuzz, which was also great but not quite as "sludgy" sounding. The Trifecta was both really sludgy AND clear. I likes.

One to check out for definite. I noticed you said the the Tweak Fuzz wasn't a sludgy sounding, I found the opposite to be honest. Everytime I played with the TF on any other position than the first it sounded like there was a blanket over my amp.
