Members Last Nerve
So what's the best out there? Cheap, small, just for home? Blackheart?Valve Jr?Champion 600? Something under $300 for sure.
Members Bill Cosby
the valve junior is the best in my opinion.
Members BloodBros
i agree...the only downfall is no eq (no nothing but volume) but an mxr or modded ge-7 and you're good to go.
Members Senor Cleavage
I love my Valve Junior.
Members kevinsaari
I have a Valve Junior (head version) that I play through a 2x12 for home use. I really like it for that. The Blackhearts looks pretty interesting though. I'd check one of those out.
Members Crxsh
I haven't played any of them, but I'd give the Blackheart Mini-Stack a look. The demo's I've seen look pretty sweet. Plus, that logo is teh coolz. Although, if tubes aren't a requirement -- check out the Roland MicroCube. Seriously sweet.

Members LoveMyLesPaul
How low watt do you want? Do you want to be able to crank it at home at night? My Valve Jr through 2x12 was still to loud for an apartment (by far) but the new BlackHeart Killer Ant 1/2 watter looks pretty cool for $140. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMBQqv8LJRU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FZsFWO_0IE&feature=user http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LODn9T4RozU&feature=related

Members mmmmmchina
my champ 600 is great for bedroom use.just mess with the volume knob till you find the sweet spot... mine really sings at around 8... then use your favorite dirt/boost to control it's gain and volume. Members LoveMyLesPaul
When does that Little Ant come out? We're all dying to know... They said the new line (1/2 watt Killer Ant, 15 watt Handsome Devil, and 100 watt HotHead) were supposed to come out in April, but that's obviously come and gone. Members Last Nerve
Thanks for the info! I'll probably just pick up whatever I can find the cheapest, as this is (hopefully) just a back-up/practice at home amp. Any love for the little Orange Crush?
