haha, he's Dave Grohl he doesn't have to care what they think.

But i can imagine that would be pretty embarrasing, atleast he took the piss out of himself to make it look better

aahh the old hit a stone as your riding away:D

But i don't think anyone dislikes Dave Grohl, even if they aren't a fan of his music, he's just such a loveable guy.

I like him, but dont really like his solo stuff. some of it sounds great when he does acoustic sets, but when turned in to loud rock it sounds a bit contrived to me.

I'm guessing he writes all his stuff with an acoustic... i dunno, just doesnt do much for me.

I quite like, him, I think.

But the music...not my thing.

Don't really do Rwak....

He seems nice, though.

Describe the video for the poor boy at College with no flash plugin?

He's running on and off stage really fast. Goes to the drummer, steps back and falls. :)

i didn't know that he had even put out a solo album. other than the first Foo album before he had a band that is.

oh, and then he throws his guitar in the air. Starts singing, and he lets himself fall on the ground again... in disbelief or something...

....and shouts 'what the {censored} was that!!' just before he tosses his guitar!!

I imagine the guitar was unplayable at that point, he came down on it pretty hard....it must have been well out of tune at the least, if not damaged.

Great fall and recovery too. I love that song. the Foos are one of those bands that have maybe 2 or 3 songs that, IMO, keep them afloat. I just don't care for the majority of what they do.

I think their first album is solid but then I'm bored by them after that apart from 2-3 songs like you said.

Muse is the same - they have probably 5 songs at all that are worth listening to otherwise it's so boring.

seems cool to me..so far removed from Nirvana...People dont really associate the two anymore do they?

Dave Grohl, IMO, is one of the most well-traveled (and most successful) musicians in recent history.

Nirvana

Foo Fighters

Queens of the Stone Age

Probot

And a ton of other side gigs..... that's a pretty damn good resum

I really like the Foo's i need to get more behind them though. Is Pat Smear back in the band full time yet? they need to make that happen.

The last interview I saw Dave basically said Pat will always be 'in' the Foo's. I think he just has other comitments or doesn't really want to be touring and recording full time with them.....I think it's like an open door policy and he comes and goes as he pleases, they are obviously very good friends.
