Members Takeaway
Cool, thanks man. I love low gain/booster pedals, and i'm real happy with the Barber LTD i have to do this job. But for forty quid, i suppose its worth the risk.

Members IvIark
The HL-01 is one of my favourite high gain distortion pedals ever. For high gain saturated lead ala Steve Vai or Joe Satriani it's fantastic. Just buy it, you'll make money on it if you sell it on.
Members Takeaway
Based on the responses, i picked up the PD today. Not tried it with and gain yet, or at high volumes, but first impressions are great! Makes the wimpy singles on my 52RI tele sound lovely! More tweaking tonight and i might just go back for the HL tomorrow. I dont have a high gain pedal right now, so it might be just the ticket! Members timmyo
I picked up that Hyperlead thanks to your tip-off. I had one and sold it - one of those "DOH!" moments. Should be here tomorrow.
Members dman11
I love my Hyperlead though it's not a match for trebly amps, there they sound too bitey. I use it with my Bassman50 head and cab with the bright switch off and a Boss parametric EQ to sculp the tone a bit. Sounds great and is easily the best Distortion I've used for Marshall-like tones. On it's own they are okay but with an EQ after they are amazing. I also own a Powerdrive I'll never part with for bluesy- dirty clean- tones.
