Members sonaboy
I think the intonation of the bass is a bit off, but my home computer speakers aren't the best and I don't think they even broadcast in true stereo. I also think there's too much compression. But we're getting there. anyone like? it's the track called Dig To China. http://www.myspace.com/actorsactresses
Members XanaduNEX
I like it pretty well. I like the tremolo that comes in around 2:00 and then again around 4:00, very cool counter-rhythmic element. Can't comment on the sound quality though as I'm listening to it through laptop speakers. Members red_riviera
sounds quite good on my studio monitors, well the relative of the levels do anyway. either your mixing speakers aren't functioning in stereo or i'd consider being a bit more adventurous with the panning, pretty much everything seems to be right up the middle. try panning out the cymbals and outro toms. i'd agree there's a bit too much compression, there's not enough a lift when the tremolo / distortion parts come in at 2' and 4' or so.
