Members postcolonial
The last two new pedals I've purchased, one MXR and one Barber, have been great in most ways. The Barber Direct Drive LG is wonderful. However, both came to me with broken stomp switches. I don't mind replacing them myself, but it's annoying to receive a brand-new pedal with a broken switch, and two in a row seems weird. Is the general quality of DPDT and 3PDT switches going down? New pedals that go duff within the warranty shouldn't be messed around with. Let the manufacturer foot the bill.

Let the manufacturer foot the bill. I still might with the Barber; I've only had it a few hours. But it sounds so nice that I'm tempted to do the repair myself and have it done right away. I'll let him/them know, regardless, just for their own quality-control purposes.
