Would this work with an A/B/Y box?

I have some really cool old vintage pedals that I like to use, in fact I haven't used them for awhile. I just realized that they all suck a bit of tone and volume and I had an idea and was curious if it would work.

Have a clean signal just straight from my guitar to my amp, and then an "effected" path that I can switch on. Would I use an A/B/Y box for this using the "A&B" setting? If so, how would I route the signal? Would I need a 1/4" male to two 1/4" female coming from my amp?

thanks

Just make a true bypass pedal, the ABY in AB mode will result in having 2 inputs unless you either put another AB box in or you have a stereo input on your amp..

Leave your tone sucking pedals on all the time, and you switch them on or off via the TB box..

Ive got a strip of 4 TB loops and another single TB box..
