Members MathiasWilliam
So my switch broke on my ShredMaster, so it needs replacing. I gave it to my dad and he took it too work and bought a new switch. The new switch is alot bigger than the original switch and is pushing down on the circuit board, which makes me kinda hmm about. The sound of the Shredmasteris also quite different from before. Seems to feedback alot easier...but didn't really take enough to time to check if it was anything else. When engaed and i tap on the switch it also picks up the sound of the tapping quite loud too. I am going to try find the correct switch and put that in, anyone know what it is? or a good alternative? Yes i am n00b:)

Members melx
it is an alpha like this one? http://www.banzaieffects.com/Alpha-DPDT-pins-pr-20369.html those are quite a bit smaller than the blue ones.
Members Belt
My guess is a cheaper quality switch... Definitely wrong size if it's harassing your board.
Members MathiasWilliam
Yeah its board mounted. Do you know anything of maybe standard switches being changed or anything? Cause i found the company who made it, but there was nothing like it. I'm thinking that because its an old pedal these switches aren't made anymore. Looking through it i found the name of a lady who soldered it up:)
Members MathiasWilliam
Maybe i should look into that alpha switch. ITs about the same size as the original one.
