speaker crossover question

I have an electrical question: Suppose I buy a cab that has 2 woofers and a tweeter, with an internal passive crossover. If I rewire the back panel so that I can have access directly to the woofers and tweeter separately (using a 4-wire speakon jack), is it safe to leave them connected to the crossover, i.e. would it hurt the crossover or cause "bleed" of some sort if I were "backdriving" the crossover?

Diagram to clarify:

So, if I have a biamp'd power amp pushing the speakers through the Speakon connector, would leaving them connected to the output side of the crossover present a problem?
