Some people like to go cleaner pedals into dirtier. I personally prefer going from the most gritty pedal and ending with the smoothest gain pedal, it keeps things from getting out of control and all buzz-saw like.

Don't want to hijack, but do you like to go OD>Dist or Dist>OD? I'm not not sure what's best.

On thread - I go ToneBone>Fulldrive 2.

I prefer to place my distortion after the overdrive, because I use the overdrive to get more gain out of the distortion. My Blues Pro really beefs the DS-1 up, for more of the modified Marshall type tone.

Sometimes I place an overdrive after distortion as a sort of solo boost, but I usually just let my EQ pedal handle that duty.

Analogman TS9 into a Fulltone Distortion Pro.

....or....

Menatone Working Man's Blues into a Fulltone Distortion Pro.

I think I am gonna replace the DP with a Jetter Blue Gain Stage. I also want a plexi rhythm sounding pedal. Can't decide if I want to get a Crunchbox or something similar for that kinda sound.

I do Rat > LTD.
:thu:

That was the first way I tried it, didn't quite work for me. I just got a 89 or 90 Turbo Rat, when I get time I'm going to try Turbo Rat > LTD > Rat 2.

I keep looking for a pedal for leads to replace my Fuzzhead.
