Members MakuseruSukotto Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 Want to tell me your address and the exact time you will be leaving your house unattended? What do the two switches do? Since its a Devi pedal, I'm going to assume that one of the switches is a "Chaos" switch.
Members theshoegazer Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 nice! i have a disaster fuzz as well. i was thinking about picking up a cherry pop after i sell my pulsar. can i hear teh tonez? ive already seen robopimps demo. moar?
Members tommyld Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 Nice!I've got a DE Aenima and a Year of the Rat on the way. When did the Cherry Pop start coming with those two toggle switches?
Members rocket34bg Posted June 26, 2008 Author Members Posted June 26, 2008 the two switches are "noise" and "chaos" modes, and i'm not sure which is which. i'm the only one with these "as of now" according to devi. i'm not sure if she plans on doing more like this without the switches, the pedal is great. i played it earlier on my amp (too late now) and i think i found 5 distinct sounds so far. and i know there are more. out of all the other distortion pedals i've ever played, this has the most sounds. really great bass sounds, if only i had a bass to put it through. there aren't very many sounds for lead guitar, but the ones i found sound great. now for the switches. one of them oscillates, much noisier than the disaster fuzz. crazy sounds. it's really fun to mess with the guitar volume knob with it on. i really should have recorded my jam session earlier cause i'm terrible at describing things. the other switch.. i'm not sure what it does yet, it doesn't make sense to me anyways i really want to make some clips but i don't have access to my amp for a few days... i'll try DI and see how it sounds. and right now i'm going to see what it sounds like with my keyboard and drum machine
Members miggy01 Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 The one that doesn't make sense is probably the chaos switch
Members rocket34bg Posted June 26, 2008 Author Members Posted June 26, 2008 I still want a {censored}ing LP. that will probably be my next one. i never have enough money to get that bit mangler i want...

Members rocket34bg Posted June 26, 2008 Author Members Posted June 26, 2008 Want to tell me your address and the exact time you will be leaving your house unattended? maybe i keep my devi pedals in my pockets at all times though. and when i don't have pockets.. well... those are fun days..
Members archlilim Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 Bit Mangler, Destructo Noctavia, US, and LP. But I need funds.
Members MakuseruSukotto Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 Knew one was 'Chaos'! Mmm, Devi pedals.
Members rocket34bg Posted June 26, 2008 Author Members Posted June 26, 2008 Knew one was 'Chaos'! Mmm, Devi pedals. mmm is right. i need to find out which is which. i've actually started getting some interesting tones out of the other switch, but only if i have the middle knob up 100%. otherwise it's pretty weak and it doesn't sound like much. but i'm starting to get some cool stuttering sounds kind of like the OK but with a different tone and a slight tremolo...
Members joncyberboy Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 I have a disaster fuzz, how do the others compare?
Members rocket34bg Posted June 26, 2008 Author Members Posted June 26, 2008 I have a disaster fuzz, how do the others compare? they are all great in their own way. the disaster fuzz and ok were about even as for which one i liked more. but together... that's the best. but i have a feeling the cherry pop will be my favorite soon
Members T3 Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 robopimp's vid is weakkkk he'll get all his friends to come beat you up in an internet tough-guy kinda way....

Members rocket34bg Posted June 26, 2008 Author Members Posted June 26, 2008 you popped Devi's cherry?
Members RoboPimp Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 he'll get all his friends to come beat you up in an internet tough-guy kinda way.... nah, it is weak... I have no problem admitting that I have no clue how to use fuzz pedals but I still like this pedal.
Members jhamnett Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 Too bad this isn't your first Devi pedal, or else it'd be a double cherry pop day!
Members hasblueshoes Posted June 26, 2008 Members Posted June 26, 2008 You might find the chaos switch does a little more the longer you hold notes.
