Best/Most Reliable Reverb Pedal for Under $200?

Yeah, no need for true bypass. The holy grail is great, but when I tried it it got alittle noisy at times. But for basic and simple reverb it's great. I also have heard people that say it's not noisy at all...so maybe the demo was just screwed.

I'm not being smart, but why not true bypass? I thought that was the way to go with pedals? Is there something special about a reverb pedal that would make me not want TB?

True bypass is only good up to a point. An all true bypass board with 8-10 effects are gonna suck tone anyway.

Buffers are the same thing. Good only up to a point. Buffers are good at the start and end of the chain so sometimes reverb pedals without TBP placed at the end of your chain actually saves your tone rather than destroy it.
