OT: Check out this amp company

I think at least some of the amps are re-branded Ashdowns. In fact, I checked the Ashdown website to see if they still made guitar amps and found a link back to the Hayden site!

FWIW, the Ashdown Peacemakers were pretty nice little amps, and I reckon the Haydens are probably pretty good too. Their dealers don't seem terribly committed to pushing them on their websites, which might be why you've never heard of them despite the fact they've been around a few years.

JAM Guitars have the handwired amps on their website with prices HERE. Not cheap, but not thoroughly unreasonable for a handmade UK amp.

They look like the bastard love child of an Ashdown and Matamp love session.

Funny you should say that... Matamp built the original Essex Blondes. Read some of the reviews here to get an idea of why Matamp distanced themselves from these amps...

Apparently Dave Green left Matamp and joined Hayden not so long ago (http://www.stonerrock.com/forums2/allposts.asp?Forum=ap601043860&ID=94075&StartAt=0). It does seem like there's some interesting interaction there.
