Alesis Midiverb II VS. III ... does anyone have experience?

the experience i have with the Alesis Midiverb II is simple- a friend of mine played through one while i was present, and it sounded unbelievable - both wonderfully atmospheric & oh so slightly cheesy in comparison with 'modern' reverb units.

its 99 presets and you can't edit any of them, but i'm pretty much ok with that.

what i'm wondering about is whether the midiverb III has the exact same sounds w/ 100 editable presets, or if its a different animal entirely ?

is the only way to have the sounds of the midiverb II to get the actual thing, or is the midiverb III like a bonus version of its predecessor ?

please HALP:blah:

I've got two Picoverbs in the spam thread. 24 bit. They sound quite a bit better than the Midiverb. Not very versatile, but if you just want a good reverb or delay and set it to taste, it's a better unit.

For $50 you can't beat the price.
