I actually play some surf and other 60's styles that relied heavily on the tube tank reverb for the recordings. it adds instant mojo. I paid a bit of a premium for mine because Fender Reverb Units rarely show up in stores around these parts, but it was definitely worth it. It just makes everything sound better, even my solid-state practice amp sounds alive. I can't wait to hook it up to a bigger tube amp at my rehearsal space.
