Members bennintexas
I don't want to sound like Santana or the myriad of late 90's over produced adult rock one hit wonder bands that used them. i feel the same way. they play extremely well and are very comfortable to me though, which are obviously more important than the stigma, but still. i guess im just a classic vibe type of guy...fender/gibson/rick etc.
Members cleverbastid
You forgot to include price, I played my friend's mccarty and loved it, but it's freaking expensive.

Members Loobs
I wouldn't buy one because when I did I found it to be the most unresonant, dull sounding lifeless guitar I've ever played/owned. No thanks. No wonder I got it for teh cheapz.

Members Rogueweez
to me they are the guitar version of the Hummer H2... I think they're the equivalent of the half-open shirt with chest hair spilling out and a giant gold medallion in the middle.

Members Metalhead Mike
I don't like the 25" scale, the headstock or bird inlays.
Members thisISjoel
I would like an "all of the above" option on the poll.
Members Drifter182
Joke aside, its mainly a price thing for me. I played one of the SE's at a shop when amp demoing and quite enjoyed it, but not enough to buy it. It lacked character. I know that sounds lame, but guitars just speak to you in that certain way, and the SE I tried just didn't do it. And the regular ones are too pricey for me to look at. Members jhamnett
I don't like the 25" scale, the headstock or bird inlays. 25" scale isn't so bad. Headstock... yeah. And you can get dots instead of birds.
Members Metalhead Mike
25" scale isn't so bad. Headstock... yeah. And you can get dots instead of birds.I must have 24.75" or smaller
Members scolfax
I like the 25" scale, but on some songs it gets cramped around the 17th fret. For those songs I have to pull out the ol' Ibanez RG.

Members _Idioteque_
Overpriced, underconstructed, marketed with lies and elitism. Doctors toy? Absolutely. Also, they're just not that interesting. Meh sound, no special tonal characteristic, very bad playability(playability isn't just the action. Have you guys seen the ridiculous neck joint?)
