Members zygoat Posted November 22, 2009 Members Share Posted November 22, 2009 I had one of those. It sounds like {censored} direct. I don't know why they call it a recording preamp. I put it through a POD for a cabinet model (left everything else turned off in the POD) and it was still {censored}ty. I hear they work great for a preamp in the traditional sense but do not get that thing thinking you can use it alone for direct recording. And yes I do like the rectifier toans but you are way better off using an Axe Fx to get that sound for direct recording. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
