Mine is a '90s Audio Bros SA112. Its the exact same thing as a DR503, flipped upside down w/ a single 100W Fane, and you're right: its loud. Also the heaviest combo I've ever lifted - can't imagine what the FA212s, etc were like. . . Thanks for the Tele love folks - this one really is fine. And I'm totally digging the Manlius '51 pickups in it (the winder/builder is who I got the guitar from). Sometimes miss the sparkle of the CAR & the Bigsby was a hoot, but this thing is on another level, for me. Compliments my Antigua nicely. Antigua has the nickel saddles, hotter bridge pickup, maple neck, etc. What is it that makes me want to own several Teles? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know why, but I'm really attracted to black Tele's with rosewood fingerboard, even if I'm more of a maple fan. And the yellow bindings add to the guitar epicness! Enjoy you beauty! I had a lefty Japanese sunburst that I bought new with a ding in it around '86 for for like 259.00 I gave it to my nephew when he started playing guitar and he still plays it all the time.
