Also a name of a pretty good band too. yeah, north carolina. although i lived more out a rural highway in the redneck sticks area than the part that seems like an arts community. although there were all kinds of eccentric interesting people back there, and a lot of weirdos doing their thing. i don't think i realized it was a band. i hope they're from there. there's also a town i think in wisconsin called black earth. i've been tempted to move there just because my address would rule. i might have done it if i hadn't already gotten to live in black mountain.
