Members Hated.bythe.USA
So true. I never go without little extra chunk on my bass. Blast in some big lows and boost the gerth of my signal with a octave.
Members slushpup96
The overuse of distortion can just as easily destroy an otherwise enjoyable piece of music. +1 for truth.

Members crohny
I think this is my longest standing pedal on my board. Sounds {censored}ing awesome with bass and guitar. I use it for guitar, but my the other guitar player in my band left his bass at my house. Ran the bass through the Supercollider into my bassman. Sounded amazing. Members Mind_Riot89
My bassist uses distortion on EVERYTHING: https://www.facebook.com/tigerlineband Really helps to thicken stuff out when you're only a three-piece. /shameless plug
Members ChrisTUFFer
I've been using a musket fuzz blunderbuss in my bass rig ever since I joined my new badn and i must say its something quite amazing. Members OrangeLazarus
when bassists use distortion they're just trying to make their bass sound like a synth. just buy a moog. sgt. peppers' bass tone FTW

Members mhuxtable
I do love a distorted bass, but like any effect (and I treat distortion like an effect), it should be used to make a point or change the feel of the part....not as a crutch to make your bass playing sound better. With that said.....a P Bass with a Big Muff is heavenly.
