Members black blade
I'm considering The Retrosonics Phaser....What others should I be looking at? Budget = $
Guest Guest
Used Mad Professor Tiny Orange Phaser or used Subdecay Quasar Deluxe could come in under $250; those are both phenomenal. I also liked the H.B.E. Psilocybe.

Members onyxrhino
I use the Whetstone, and I like it alot. As mentioned before, the Grand Orbiter and the Subdecay Quasar Dlx both look pretty awesome as well.

Members Raintes
I have one of these, great little thing for the $. Tried a nano Small Stone and a Phase 90 before my wife bought me this last year. I highly recommend this pedal! Trimpots allow you to shape it up really well. I think the left side of the color knob leans more toward Phase 90 tones and the right side Small Stone, very versatile.
Members Knoxnihilist
I know its cheap and basic, but I still love the sound of a phase 90.

Members Last Nerve
What are you using it for? What type of music?EVH? Faux-Leslie?The MXR '74 Phase 90 just sounds A-MA-ZING with a band man.It doesn't cost much, either. Just notch the bottom plate and run a battery clip. Members JRBain
Big box USA Small Stone for me. The volume drop is a little annoying, but this is what a phaser sounds like, for me. So buy one used and get it modded.
