Members gae86 Posted August 24, 2011 Members Share Posted August 24, 2011 i didn't like anything it did. delay was cold and harsh, the pitch stuff was slow, and the rest i had no use for. it was probably the most dissapointed i've been in a pedal. pretty much my experience! The PS3 was my 2nd pedal, but I had the rack and a few other oddities as my first ever(HotCake from NZ, DM3 and a TU2 given to me by one of my drummer friends). It was on loan but later made permanent. I still have it and use it along with my other non-pedal mini rack units. The PS3 is a different beast and you can't compare the two. Members Wulver Posted August 25, 2011 Author Members Share Posted August 25, 2011 Bought it, traded a BBE Mind Bender and put up the rest in cash. Don't think I've even properly scratched the surface, even with the Boss manual I printed out today. The echo is EXTREMELY clean, almost sorta metallic tasting, and seems to have infinite repeats (potential looper, eh?). Can get a very nice chorus sound out of it, not as extreme as the Mind Bender but there's enough overlap for me not to miss it. Have managed some very cool things with the pitch shifter, but there's still significant ground I haven't covered yet. Oh, and I adore the reverse pitch shift thing, Mode 7 right?
