List Every Key/Synth You've Ever Owned...

Recommended Posts

The most heinous Satellite.

The Crumar was either a Performer, or Tocatta "I had both at the time".

it looks like a Performer, right, from the rear panel.

Plus, I know synths well, and there is no instrument called "Tocatta" :D.

Thanks for reminding me - I also have a TX81z that wasn't listed. 1U, black, doesn't cry for much attention, but has bass that can kick like a mule.

wow, can't believe the mountains of gear that some ppl here have flipped over the years/decades . don't think i could have spared the time to go thru so many boards even if i wanted to. i've been at it for 25yrs, and my past gear list looks almost miniscule comparably. and i re-bought the microwave, and am about to do the same with FS1R.

OK, well I spelled it wrong, I was havin' a senior moment. I had a Toccata.

I also had an AARP, a profit, and a moag, oops... and apparently a BM, I'll be back with a diaper change:D

The one that leaps out of the list (to my eyes, at least) is the CS-80. Did circumstances force you to unload it, or did you not like it enough to keep it? Just curious, since it would seem to "fit" so well with the rest of your top-flight gear...

circumstances. it was mint condition, the works. i bought it relatively cheap few yrs back. and last winter i was buying a new apt./studio, situation when extra cash is always welcome. and suddenly, the prices for CS-80 went to all time high $13 - 15k. so i got an offer i couldn't refuse..

other than that, it really is one of the greatest electronic instruments of all time. beautiful sound. it deserves all its hype and legend. but it ain't really worth that much money. so i went for the "roof over my head" instead..

other reason behind the sale was potential long term maintenance nightmares. one has only so much free time to deal with this. withy the vintages i already own, it would have been over the top..
