I don't think this is complete, and I didn't list how many of these I've had at any given time... some bolded items will be for sale eventually... not even sure I should post this... maybe Eric will be less shy about posting his list now...

the problem w. reading other folks lists is that it reminds me of gear I had...

I'm probably forgetting some.. The most I've had at the same time was 70. After that, I realized it wasn't healthy, like oldgearguy was saying in another thread. I've been downsizing since 2001. I am more and more tempted to go completely FENG SHUI and have only a handful of good quality pieces, join the new millennium, and use (cringe) SOFT SYNTHS, but it would be a big change for me - I've always been hardware based. G.A.S. is a disease..

OMG some of you guys have huge lists of gear. OK, fess up, who here is really an uber keyboard player from a major classic rock band or something like that in disguise?

Right now for hardware in my house we have

Everette Piano

Yamaha XS6

Yamaha MO6 (going up for sale in Feb)

DSI P'08

Novation X-Station 25 (going up for sale in Feb)

Novation Supernova II Rack

Waldorf Micro Q Phoenix

Alesis Ion

Maudio Axiom 49 (going up for sale in Feb)

There should be a Moog Voyager arriving on Wed of this week.

I also have an insane amount of guitar gear, acoustic and electric, and a mandolin or two, but you guys probably don't care about that.

:)

Nobody asked about effects lists or other equipment yet. Fact of the matter is - if you are "into" an area, you tend to explore it by picking up a lot of gear/manuals/books/info on that stuff. There's no better way to see what works for you than by purchasing it and trying it out in your specific environment.

Other than the gear equivalent of a lending library, there's no real way to truly know.
