Members boonestunes
Just picked up a used ernie ball VP jr for my 2nd pedalboard- backup. I have the full size older EB volume in my main board. Inside, on the back of the board where the jacks are, is a mini dip switch. Anyone know what that's for? Anyone know how I can tell if mine is the 25k or 250k model? sticker on bottom has the following: D/C: 25 05PO 6180 Any insight will be greatly appreciated
Members HMKRich
It does something with the pot's taper, IIRC.
Members turnitto11
If it's the 25k one it'll say so right next to the jacks like so: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/ernie-ball-vp-junior-25k-active-volume-pedal Switch adjusts the taper so there's less of a volume jump at the end of the pedal's travel. Members boonestunes
6180 was the model #, so it's the 250k. Thanks for the advice on the switch. I'll have to experiment with it....
