I'd give it a whirl myself mate if I weren't so damn busy right now.

 

If you're willing to pay, get in touch with this guy. He's my amp/guitar tech when I need one. Nice bloke, and he'll give you a fair price. He fixes everything from any amp/guitar under the sun, to mixing desks and pedals. Worth at least giving him a ring.

I managed to get something similar, but a full blown radiogram with a record deck the other day.

It was just dumped outside someones house and I thought the cabinet looked cool, didn't expect it to work.

 

If you check out the vintage radio forum or take it to a tech they should be able to wire you a line in, you could put a portable dab or MP3 player in there, would sound pretty cool.
