Anyone ever check out the list of manufacturers who opt out of their 10%, 14%, 15% discount offers? Wouldn't it be easier for them to list the manufacturers who are participating? It's kind of misrepresentive to imply BOLDLY that you can SAVE BIG when most of the products a person would most be interested in are on the opt out list.. just sayin.. here's the manufacturers who DO NOT participate in MF discounts:

this topic keeps coming up over and over.

you can get discounts on the "opt out" manufacturers...you just have to ask. they won't advertise a discount probably because it violates their MAP pricing . just call up and ask for the discount, you can get it.

Pretty much, and if you put the coupon code in on the site...it pretty much works every time no matter what you have in the cart. Gear is cheaper now than EVER before and yet people still keep bitching that they want MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE!

for nothing. It's sad really.

That's what I get for not hanging out here much anymore. Thank you!

Stuff that's covered: Rogue, DeltaLab, Acoustic, Groove Percussion....

Some list. Basically their sales are mildly if not blatantly deceptive business practices. If PGS or Tonefactor offer a sale, usually the only brand not included is Fulltone. All others usually.

I kinda think minimum advertised prices are a bit like price fixing and do not subscribe to the practice, personally.

It is. OTOH, I prefer to think of it as helping protect the little guy a bit against the megastores.
