Heck yes! We stopped by Ludlow Guitars today! It is good to be in the glass case with good friends Malekko Effects and Ben Fulton's Red Witch Pedals!!! ?
Rumor is that the fella from Steely Dan bought the entire Catalinbread line in one full swoop!

Did the guy from Steely Dan actually have the cash? Are they still touring? Did he buy the Malekko or Ben's pedals. That was not nice if he came running in like a crazy person and just bought the catlinbread stuff. Although you can not go wrong Swooping anything in the case at Ludlows Guitars.

Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. Since Donald primarily plays keys, and Walter's a bassist / guitarist, Walter Becker is probably who they are referring to....

Unless they are referring to one of the previous members (Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, Denny Dias), one of the session players who worked on their records (too many to name 'em all - Elliot Randall, Larry Carlton, Dean Parks, Jay Graydon, et al) or one of the guys in the touring band, it would most likely be Becker.

The two other guys who are closely associated with Steely Dan would be producer Gary Katz and engineer Roger Nichols. Unfortunately Roger passed away from pancreatic cancer last year.

throwing down the knowledge :thu: you'd think if he bought their entire pedal lineup they'd know who he was...but yea, i'd think its Becker too.
