It's time I got a fuzz pedal

I want to get something that's pretty versatile. I haven't been following pedals for a while so I'm not sure what my best options are right now. My first impulse is to get a used fuzz factory.

The band I'm starting in with now is inspired by the likes of St. Vincent and Tv on the Radio.

I don't need any sort of brootz fuzziness. I'm really hoping to find something that will get me great low gain fuzz and some synth like tones too.

Other than Fuzz Factory, what should the contenders be?

--edit--

I'm also looking to get either a clean boost or compressor and maybe some modulation.

My current board: volume->keeley bd-2-> ggg tube screamer-> keeley tr-2-> dmm ->smmh -> BSR

I've also got a boss ps-3 and electric mistress flanger that I'm thinking to work back in, but I haven't used much in a long time.

What's your budget? Could you post some YT clips of what sound you're after? i've never owned a fuzz factory, maybe some day. I hear though, that they are fairly fickle to dial in, and lack bass. I've owned the Mastotron, which is actually a pretty cool fuzz, and not too pricey.

I'd recommend either the Pharaoh or LSTR from BAT. I have both right now, and dig them both. But they're more from the muff family, although they are both quite versatile too, so definitely not a one trick pony.

What's your budget?

I'm thinking I'd like to stay under $150 (used) unless something really blows my mind because I have the other purchases in mind and a major car repair.

I think the Mellotone Wolf Computer is basically a Fuzz Factory that's been redesigned to not be as extreme at some settings so it's easier to dial in. It should do everything you want to if you're not looking for like oscillating noise and velcro farts.
