The reason I play guitar in the first place can be traced directly back to me getting the Live at Donington DVD as a Christmas present. After that, I knew I wanted to play guitar. My tastes in music have changed since then, but I periodically come back to them and will always have a soft spot for AC/DC. As far as first influences go, they were great - very little gain on guitars, Angus has the meanest vibrato in business and a metronomically tight rhythm section.


I was in bar recently and they played Highway To Hell in its entirety on the sound system. I had forgotten how good it is:
